Paata Manjgaladze: I appeal to our partners from the opposition parties, this is an emergency situation of such a scale that it is necessary to take emergency measures - the reintegration of Georgia into the Russian swamp is being accelerated

I appeal to our partners from the opposition parties, this is an emergency situation of such a scale that it is necessary to take emergency measures - we suggest that we start a conversation about how we can stand up to the process of reintegration of Georgia into the Russian space together, - the Deputy of Strategy Builder, Paata Manjgaladze said regarding the resumption of flights and visa-free travel by the leader of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

According to him, Vladimir Putin directly said that he had negotiations with the Georgian authorities and made a decision on economic cooperation in agreement with the Georgian authorities.

"Yesterday, we saw very alarming information on Nodar Meladze’s Saturday program, where it was directly discussed that the reintegration of Georgia into the Russian swamp is being accelerated. It is directly documented and Putin talks about it, that he had negotiations with the Georgian authorities and made a decision in agreement with the Georgian authorities regarding economic cooperation with Russia, I mean, the cancellation of visas and the restoration of direct flights. Friends, the situation is alarming”, Paata Manjgaladze said.

According to him, Putin directly said that he took a responsive step to the request of the Georgian Government.

“Kaladze and Kobakhidze are lying to the people, saying that Putin meant the previous Government”, he said.

He also spoke about the recent statements by the President of Georgia and noted that Salome Zurabishvili should not fight for a place, but should fight for Georgia to have a worthy place in Europe and the world.

"I understand that Salome Zurabishvili is worried that they do not respect her, but it is a pity that they do not respect the freedom of Georgia. On May 26, Vladimir Putin declared insane all those who protested against the resumption of direct flights to Russia. Georgia's freedom is madness for Putin. The President should not fight for a place, first of all, she should fight for Georgia to have a worthy place in Europe and the world," Manjgaladze said.
