Paata Manjgaladze: I welcome the creation of the third pole, if the opposition has coordination on the main issue - the European future

I welcome the creation of the third pole. The main thing is to fix the focus. If the opposition has coordination on fundamental issues, not on lists, single numbers or a single platform, but on the main issue - the European future, the existence of all poles is possible, - said Paata Manjgaladze, deputy of Strategy Builder, thus responding to the Lelo secretary general Badri Japaridze's statement that an alternative attraction center in the opposition should be created without the National Movement.

According to him, the Strategy Builder is on the side of the coordination of the opposition, however, "not in unified lists so that someone can cross the barrier." Manjgaladze says that if the opposition continues to attack each other instead of talking about the main issues, "the barrier will be left aside, Georgia and party identities will be left behind."

"I welcome the statement by Badri Japaridze and other representatives of the opposition that they want to create the third pole, the center. The main thing is to fix the focus, the content. I wish success to any center, any union, because together we must defeat Georgian Dream. Let's not forget the main thing, let's not get carried away by arguing with each other during the creation of these poles, let's not forget that the country is in danger and there is a danger that we may wake up in Russia. If the opposition has coordination on fundamental issues, not on lists, single numbers or a single platform, but coordination on the main issue - the European future - and if we expose Georgian Dream together, then it is possible for all poles to exist, but if the main issue is, what Melia told Khabeishvili and Khabeishvili to Melia, this will help the Georgian Dream propaganda, as if something more important is happening than the arrival of the Kadyrovites, the wedding of Lavrov's family members in Georgia. This would be a distraction and we should not help the Dream in this. The Strategy Builder is on the side of the opposition coordination and joint efforts, not on unified lists for someone to cross the barrier. The barrier will be left aside, Georgia and party identities will also be left aside if we continue like this," Manjgaladze said.
