The leader of the Europ­ean Georgia party responded to the developments in Russia and said that the weakening of the enemy makes all patriots happy.

"All patriotic citizens of Georgia are happy to weaken our enemy, what happened in Russia weakens this country. The government received the heaviest blow. Everyone wanted Russia to take a big hit, but this shows that a historic window of opportunity has opened. The main thing is to weaken our enemy. Yesterday the leader of Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin announced that the forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense bombed Wagner camps. Because of this, Prigozhin threatened the authors of the attack with punishment. Prigozhin called for a rebellion against the Russian army - and his forces captured Rostov, a major military post. The deal to end the rebellion came from negotiations between Prigozhin and Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko. Putin decried Prigozhin's actions as "treason" in a national TV address on Saturday.
