In the Parliament session hall, near the tribune where Tea Tsulukiani is giving a speech, the opposition woman MPs unfurled a protest poster

At the tribune of the plenary session of the Parliament, where the Minister of Culture and Sports Tea Tsulukiani is giving a speech in the "Minister's Hour" format, opposition woman MPs Tina Bokuchava, Salome Samadashvili, Khatuna Samnidze and Tamar Kordzaia unfurled a poster with the Georgian Dream logo and the Russian inscription - Русский военный корабл , иди на х...

Tsulukiani addressed the female deputies who came to the tribune as follows: "Welcome ladies. Unfurl the poster, I'll continue. The main thing is for you not to get tired."

The Chairman of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, called the oppositionists to leave the hall, then made them to leave the hall with the help of supervisors and announced a technical break at the session.

After the break, Papuashvili spoke about the incident and said that this incident is shameful.

"This is a shameful incident and I am sorry that woman MPs in particular stand out for the most disgraceful behavior that a member of Parliament can do. This is discrediting, including the role of women in politics, when the main role they have cast is hysteria, it is radicalism and absolute violation of human dignity. Especially these few female MPs, I think, insult the mandate of the Parliament, cast a shadow on the role of women in politics, and with their appearance, the perception is formed that a woman can only create hysteria and radicalism in politics. Unfortunately, fellow male MPs are hiding behind these women and they don't have enough courage to do it themselves or to stand by them, or if they don't agree, say something," said Shalva Papuashvili.

Tea Tsulukiani wished the MPs endurance after the confrontation.

"I was in this hall for a while, I had the honor and I remember it, but today the situation is even more intense and I want to wish you all endurance", said Tsulukiani.
