Irakli Edzgveradze, deputy of the National Movement of the City Council, was assaulted

Irakli Edzgveradze, a member of the Tbilisi City Council, was assaulted near his home in Gldani, the first micro-district.

According to Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the National Movement, about 60 people participated in the attack.

"Just half an hour ago, after Edzgveradze returned home, he was in the first micro, with some friends, and he was assaulted by about 50-60 people armed with batons," says Nika Melia.
