It is not clear, first of all, I would like to say and express my surprise, why in general the sanctioning of Partskhaladze happened, it is not clear, it is inexplicable to me personally. I am speaking openly about this, stating my opinion - it is said that a storm is brewing in a glass," said Gharibashvili.

He answered the question whether he believes that Otar Partsakhladze is a Russian agent.

“I will tell you one thing, this is a very sensitive issue and I want to tell you one thing that is different - all those people who act to the detriment of the interests of the country and in favor of the interests of another country are traitors in my eyes, it doesn't matter which country's agent they are. They are traitors. To me, to the services, to the state, there is no fact that Partskhaladze has committed any action to the detriment of the interests of our country and to the benefit of the interests of other countries. Partskhaladze is a businessman," Gharibashvili said.

He also answered the question about the exceptional decree taken by the National Bank in relation to Partskhaladze.

"It was not about Partskhaladze, it was about the citizen. It's funny for me to hear the comments of real spies, the country's traitors," Gharibashvili said.

When asked whether he needs proof, he answers that "of course!".

Of course, we understand our partner, who we respect very much, but we have this discussion and communication with them.
