I just had an excellent meeting with Minister Juansher Burchuladze. In the meeting, I reiterated the United States’ absolute commitment to our very strong military cooperation, US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Robin Dunnigan said after the meeting with the Minister of Defence of Georgia.

According to her, they discussed further strengthening of the strategic partnership in terms of defence and security cooperation.

“I also reiterated the United States’ absolute support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. We have long been the strongest supporters of Georgia when it comes to sovereignty and territorial integrity. And I gave the Minister my commitment that I will continue to work on this with the Georgian Government and with international partners. So once again, we have a strong strategic partnership with Georgia in the defence and security area and we will continue to even further deepen that”, said the Ambassador.
