Tina Bokuchava demands to check Levan Mgaloblishvili with a breathalyzer test and to confirm that the member of Georgian Dream violated the regulations and came to the session under the influence of alcohol

We demand that Levan Mgaloblishvili be immediately checked in order to confirm that he violates the regulations of the Parliament and is under the influence of alcohol in the session hall, where he uses obscene expressions against female MPs, Tina Bokuchava, the chairman of the National Movement faction, stated.

Bokuchava demands that the issue of Mgaloblishvili's responsibility be raised.

"Recently, attacks by "Russian Dream" male MPs against female opposition MPs have become especially frequent. Female opposition MPs, who fight most uncompromisingly for the European future, are constantly the target of immoral, obscene attacks from the "Russian Dream" MPs. Today, we were presented with such an attacker by Levan Mgaloblishvili, who was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, from whom we have never heard a single position during the parliamentary debates on issues that are important for Georgia, but today we learned that this person is very well aware of using obscene, immoral personal attacks, swearing in the session hall. We demand that this MP be immediately checked to prove that he violates the rules of the Parliament, and the law and is in a state of alcohol intoxication in the session hall of the Parliament, where he uses obscene expressions against fellow MPs, and that this person be held accountable. With this request, we will personally address Gia Volski, who is today in the role of the Chairman of the Parliament session," said Bokuchava.

For information, at the plenary session of the Parliament, the situation became tense. Georgian Dream MP Levan Mgaloblishvili called his opposition colleague Tina Bokuchava a "bastard". Mgaloblishvili's insulting remark was responded to by National Movement deputy Ana Tsitlidze. She threw papers at the deputy of the ruling party. After Ana Tsitlidze threw papers at Levan Mgaloblishvili, Mgaloblishvili removed the microphone and tried to throw it at Ana Tsitlidze, but the supervisor intervened. Members of the majority took Levan Mgaloblishvili out of the meeting hall. The situation became tense after Rati Bregadze evaluated the decision of the Strasbourg court on Mikheil Saakashvili's case, at which time Bokuchava interrupted the Minister and told him that he was lying.
