I want to tell the young people that the flag of Georgia belongs to you, you must bring this flag to where the future of this country is and don't let anyone change the values that exist under this flag, paint a different image of Georgia - you all understand what I'm talking about, - The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, announced this during her speech at the event held in connection with the Day of the State Flag of Georgia.

The President of the country appealed to the youth to protect the country and protect the state flag.

According to Salome Zurabishvili, this flag will be a permanent symbol of Georgia and she wished for victory.

According to the president, the flag of Georgia protects us and protects the values that unite us."This flag represents all of this, and this flag is our protector because it protects us and protects the values that unite us. Without our unity, the flag loses its power, loses its purpose, therefore we are obliged to achieve, despite everything, that very great power, in the country and in any state, which is called the unity of the people. I want you to tell the young people that this flag belongs to you, it is yours to protect, you must take this flag to where the future of this country is and do not allow anyone to change the values that exist under this flag, those values, to paint a different image of Georgia. You all understand what I'm talking about today, and I don't want to talk about it, but you understand well. You have protected the country and thus you will protect this flag. This flag will be a permanent symbol of Georgia, and I wish it victory," said the president.
