Shalva Papuashvili calls reports about Irakli Gharibashvili alleged resignation in the coming days “speculation”

The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, calls the information that the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, may leave his post in the coming days, a speculation.

According to him, "such speculations have been spread many times".

"I cannot comment on speculations," Papuashvili said.

He also answered the question why Bidzina Ivanishvili is not active and whether he has communicated with any of the party leaders recently.

Papuashvili said that he was not interested in this topic.

"Bidzina Ivanishvili returned to politics in order to be actively involved in party activities and the political life of Georgia," Papuashvili said.
