Gia Volski: It is unfair for the president to veto the changes made to the election code

According to the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski, it is unfair for the President to veto the amendments made to the Election Code.

According to him, "this is a strategic harmful policy, which is carried out by Salome Zurabishvili, whom we can hardly call the president".

As Volski notes, Zurabishvili is engaged in sabotage.

"Today we have an absolutely high-level professional CEC, whose chairman is represented by Salome Zurabishvili. They announced sabotage, they bullied him and today such a wrong political approach is circulated, which is another part of sabotage.

It is not only the issue that delays the process, puts a veto. This is what appears on the surface. If we look at it from the other side, this is a strategic harmful policy, which is carried out by Salome Zurabishvili, whom it is very difficult to call the president," said Volski.

We remind you that amendments to the Election Code were accepted by the Parliament in the third reading yesterday. The President announced that she will veto the mentioned legislative amendments.
