President of Iceland arrives in Georgia

The President of the Republic of Iceland, Guðni Jóhansson, is paying an official visit to Tbilisi. According to the information of the Administration of the President, the head of the Administration of the President of Georgia, Natia Sulava, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilia Darchiashvili, met the President of Iceland and the state delegation at Tbilisi International Airport.

The official welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Iceland will take place today in the Orbeliani Palace.

Within the framework of the official visit, a face-to-face and extended meetings will be held betweenthe President of Georgia and the President of the Republic of Iceland, after which the Presidents will make joint statements.

Meetings are scheduled between the President of the Republic of Iceland and the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.
