"As for the visit to Georgia, within the framework of our visit we have been focused on green energy. We think that we can deepen our relationship in this direction. We have an example of this in Akhalkalaki, where an Icelandic company participates in the formation, and we welcome additional cooperation in this direction. When the partnership between Baku and Iceland was formed, we maintained cooperation on various green issues. Therefore, what unites Georgia and Reykjavik are warm baths. As we know, there are warm baths in Tbilisi and Reykjavik. In this direction, we believe that Iceland has something that can be offered to Georgia. We can look for new bridges of cooperation in Georgia.

As far as I know, Georgia has a very large literary stock. We are now in the Rustaveli hall. Tomorrow we will have the honor to sign a mutual cooperation agreement between the universities of Iceland and Georgia, on the basis of which there will be an exchange between the universities of the countries in the direction of literature and cultural heritage. We should not stop there.

Tourism can also be encouraged. Of course, Georgia is located in a very interesting place, where we will meet both sea coasts and mountains. That's why I think that after my visit, Icelanders' interest in Georgia will increase," said the President of Iceland.

According to the President of Iceland, when he met his Georgian friends for the first time, they told him that his name would be translated into Georgian as Guduna Ivanishvili.

"Now I want to return to my personal interests, I remember when I first met my Georgian friends, they told me that my name - Guðni Jóhansson would be translated into Georgian as Guduna Ivanishvili. I will be happy to be known by this name in Georgia for days to come.

I am glad that we had the opportunity to visit the country outside the capital. I always encourage international visitors to go outside the city. So, Guduna Ivanishvili is happy to be in Georgia today. I was also taught a few words by my friends - "I love you". I thank you for hosting Georgia and Georgians," said Guðni Jóhansson.
