Kakha Kaladze: A certain part of our territories is occupied by Russia - there is a lot of work in this direction

If any Georgian were to be stopped and asked what his dream is, everyone would say that it is the restoration of our territorial integrity, the return of the territories that are currently occupied, - General Secretary of "Georgian Dream" Kakha Kaladze told journalists.

Kaladze answered the question regarding the appointment of Giorgi Kajaia as the special representative of the Prime Minister in matters of relations with Russia. According to Kaladze, he does not know this person.

"I do not know this person, it will be difficult for me to make assessments. I repeat once again, regarding the resumption of flights with Russia, a number of statements have been made in this regard, and I would like to explain once again that we are withdrawing based on the interests of our country, it concerns the same issue of joining the sanctions-armies, resuming the same flights-not resuming, etc. - said Kaladze.

Regarding the question of how effective the format of the relationship between Zurab Abashidze and Grigori Karasyn was and what Kajaya should do now that his predecessor Abashidze failed to do, Kaladze says that he cannot say anything about it.

"I can't tell you, it's a very difficult process. You know that we do not have diplomatic relations with Russia, some of the territories are occupied by them. However, there is much work to be done in this direction. First of all, in order for de-occupation to take place, the restoration of our territorial integrity, this is the most important thing today, and I am sure that not only the government, if any Georgian were to be stopped and asked what his dream is, everyone would say that it is the restoration of our territorial integrity, territories return, which is occupied today", said Kakha Kaladze.
