The first meeting between the two Prime Ministers was held in Baku, the conversation touched on the extraordinary bilateral relations between the two strategic partner countries, Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the minister, the main emphasis at the meeting was on further deepening and strengthening of existing relations.

"At this meeting, the main emphasis was that both the Georgian and Azerbaijani sides are interested in deepening and strengthening these relations. The main emphasis, of course, will also be made in the future, so that we jointly implement many regional projects so that our region, which has acquired a new, important role in today's world, in today's environment, can be even more effective in order to naturally and effectively connect the East and the West to each other", said Ilia Darchiashvili, whose comment is disseminated by the Georgian government administration.
