Mamuka Mdinaradze: Anyone who accuses Georgia of helping Russia avoid sanctions is an enemy of Georgia

Anyone who accuses Georgia of helping Russia avoid sanctions is an enemy of Georgia, Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority, told journalists.

According to him, betrayal should be given its own name.

"Anyone who accuses Georgia of helping Russia evade sanctions is Georgia's enemy. Let's say the name directly. Whoever accuses Georgia that our country, our motherland helps Russia to avoid sanctions, and this is a lie, is an enemy of Georgia. No matter which organization it is, no matter who he is, they are hostile to Georgia. Accordingly, be Roman Gotsiridze at the parliament session, or the joint statement of representatives of the NGO sector, whoever blames Georgia for this, is lying and is hostile to Georgia. There will be such hostility tomorrow and the day after too, it will be television, it will be journalists, parliamentarians, politicians, representatives of the NGO sector, they are hostile to Georgia. How can you blame your own homeland for the beneficial action of the occupying country, when this is absolutely far from reality. When the sanctions group arrives in your country, they assess all this very critically and say that they have not noticed a single case of Georgia helping Russia to evade sanctions, and at that time a representative of your country says that it is true, that Georgia is helping Russia, it is hostile to Georgia. We have to give it its own name. We have to call treason its own name, I really can't imagine a bigger treason," said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
