Nikol Pashinyan: I am very satisfied with the dynamically developing relations between Armenia and Georgia, and we will do our best to open new horizons

I am very satisfied with the dynamically developing relations between Armenia and Georgia. I want to assure you that we will do our best not to be satisfied with this and to open new horizons in our relations, - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the briefing held together with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Yerevan.

The Prime Minister of Armenia thanked his Georgian counterpart for his visit to Yerevan, while noting that Georgia is trying to facilitate the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"I want to emphasize that we are taking all steps to improve relations with Azerbaijan. We agreed to be guided by three principles at the highest level. On the basis of the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration, which recognizes the territorial integrity and sovereignty of both countries and the delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, relations between the two countries should be settled on the basis of mutual respect.

We believe that peace and this project, which we are offering to our neighboring country, will be the starting point for future cooperation to arrange strategic relations with Azerbaijan. Georgia is interested not only in the normalization of our relations, but also practically tries to facilitate the settlement of relations between us and Azerbaijan. Mr. Prime Minister, in summary, I would like to say that I am very satisfied with our relations between Armenia and Georgia, which are developing dynamically. I want to assure you that we will do our best not to be satisfied with this and to open new horizons in our relations", said Pashinyan.
