According to opposition MP Khatia Dekanoidze, at today's meeting with President Salome Zurabishvili, they agreed that the October 26 elections should end with the victory of Georgian citizens. As she explained to journalists after the meeting, the configuration of specific parties was not discussed at the meeting.

"We had a very interesting conversation. First of all, it was about the recent developments in the Parliament and the serious threat of a step back towards the European Union, the initiation of the "Russian law", the attack on women. We agreed that to all this, to this filth, to the neglect of Georgian citizens, when our national team wins and goes to the European Championship, and Georgian Dream confronts this with Russian legislation, our very important answer should be - victory in the elections. The President had a very important role in the context of granting the candidate status, as well as the citizens of Georgia. Therefore, she will continue to take all important steps for the integration of Georgia into the European Union. We didn't really talk about the specific party and political configuration. The main thing is that the October 26 elections should end with the victory of Georgian citizens, this was everyone's consensus," said Dekanoidze.
