Paata Manjgaladze: Hopefully, the logic of common sense is preserved in someone in Georgian Dream and they will not say that Facebook and Zuckerberg are under the influence of the National Movement

I think that the fantasy of Georgian Dream has not reached the point where it can accuse Zuckerberg of being a member of the National Movement. Hopefully, the logic of common sense is preserved in someone in Georgian Dream and they will not say that Facebook and Zuckerberg are under the influence of the National Movement, Paata Manjgaladze, deputy of Strategy Builder, said while responded to the evaluations of the members of Georgian Dream on the blocking of information related to the "Transparency of foreign influence" bill by Facebook.

According to him, it is primitive propaganda of Georgian Dream to blame the opposition for what is happening in the country.

As Manjgaladze stated, the European and French counterparts of this law directly state that they do not apply to the EU member states, while Georgian Dream cannot distinguish who is an enemy and who is a friend.

"I would like to ask a question to Mamuka Mdinaradze, even to Irakli Kobakhidze - who is the enemy - our Western partners, the European Union or Russia? This is a simple question. None of our partners like this draft law, Stoltenberg does not like it, and Peskov likes it. Is the law Russian or European? Let them explain to our partners if they have the resources to do so. There is no point in explaining it to us. I know for sure that the law that Peskov likes does not serve the interests of Georgia, the laws that our partners do not like do not serve the interests of Georgia. Georgian Dream does not directly dare to refuse Europe and to finally close the door of Europe for, but this law was introduced for that purpose," said Manjgaladze.
