Mamuka Mdinaradze regarding Girchi bill: If it gains any support from other political parties and at least in a certain circle of society, we can discuss it

The executive secretary of Georgian Dream, Mamuka Mdinaradze, states that the draft law prepared by Girchi regarding the admission of political lobbying "can be discussed".

More specifically, Mdinaradze noted that if the initiative gains the support of other political parties and a certain circle of society, it can be discussed.

"In my opinion, this is the opinion of the minority of the minority, and if it gains some support from other political parties and at least in a certain circle of society, not the general masses, but at least in certain circles, it can be discussed, but I think that it is still not an acceptable practice today, however, we can discuss it. Let's see if this bill will go beyond the opinion of Iago [Khvichia] Girchi and then we will talk about it," said Mamuka Mdinaradze, whose comments were disseminated by the party's press office.

According to Iago Khvichia, anti-American mood can be seen in the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence" initiated by the ruling team, therefore, Girchi is going to submit a draft law regarding the admission of political lobbying to the Parliament.
