The Embassy of Armenia in Georgia publishes the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Georgia. The statement says that official Baku's response to the Armenian-French military-technical cooperation causes astonishment.

The statement mentions that having an army capable of fighting and armed with modern military equipment is the sovereign right of any country.

"The Republic of Armenia recognizes the territorial integrity and inviolability of borders of all its neighbors. Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed at the highest level to recognize each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration. The Republic of Armenia adheres to this principle and has no ambitions beyond the internationally recognized territory of 29,743 square kilometers. The Republic of Armenia proved its approach in practice by implementing the delimitation initiative of four villages of Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia and Gazakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We call on Azerbaijan to end its occupation of vital territories of more than 30 villages of the Republic of Armenia.

The practice of Azerbaijan, which conveniently predicts regional escalations in every case, is suggestive and comes to justify the analyzes conducted by a number of centers that Azerbaijan will do everything to hinder the process of concluding a peace agreement with Armenia, in order to launch a new aggression against the Republic of Armenia after the COP29 summit in Baku in November 2024.

We draw the attention of the international community to this, as well as to the fact that the proposal to conclude the official Yerevan peace agreement in 1 month was left unanswered by the official Baku side", - reads the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, which is distributed by the Embassy of Armenia.
