We call on the Georgian government to correct the course and fulfill public aspirations regarding Georgia's European future, US Deputy Secretary of State Ezra Zeya writes on social media after meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
Ezra Zeya noted that he had a frank conversation with the Prime Minister of Georgia."The US is still seriously concerned that the anti-democratic actions of the Georgian government, including the so-called the "Foreign Influence Act" and rhetoric undermine its path to the EU and relations with the United States. We call on the government of Georgia to correct the course and fulfill public aspirations regarding Georgia's European future," the US Deputy Secretary of State wrote on X.
