As of today, our rating is around 60% - in such a situation, no matter how the opposition groups or regroups, our victory will not be in any danger, - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists about this.
According to him, the opposition parties are trying to merge, because "their only task is to somehow overcome the [election] barrier".
"The real situation about a month ago was such that no political party except the "National Movement" could breach the electoral threshold. In such conditions, it is logical that they try to merge. Their only task is to somehow overcome the barrier. In this process, they do not shy away from uniting with such parties, who were referred to with unkind words in the past. This is a manifestation of their unprincipledness. This is their job. This is not our business. The most important thing for us is that our rating is approximately 60%. In such a situation, no matter how the opposition groups or regroups, there will be no danger to our victory", said Irakli Kobakhidze.
