The Government of Georgia will allocate 1 million GEL for the Olympic champions, half a million GEL for the silver medalists, and 250 thousand GEL for the bronze winners, - the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, said in his speech at the Olympic Games ceremony.

As the head of the government noted, support for Georgian sports, Georgian Olympians, and the Olympic team will continue, and this support will increase year by year.

"Traditionally, a prize is established before the Olympic Games, and in this case, one million GEL will be allocated by the Government of Georgia for the Olympic champions, half a million GEL for the silver medal and 250 thousand GEL for the bronze prize winners.
