The 121st meeting is taking place within the framework of the incident prevention and response mechanism in Ergneti village located on the perimeter of the occupied territory in Gori municipality.
According to the Deputy Director of the Information and Analytical Department of the State Security Service, the representatives of the Central Government of Georgia are discussing the recent incidents near the occupation line, destructive actions and facts of illegal detention of Georgian citizens.
As Irakli Antadze mentioned, in the period between the meetings, 8 cases of illegal bordering were recorded in the villages of Kareli and Gori municipalities.
"The main focus at today's meeting, as well as at the previous meeting, will be on the timely return of illegally detained persons to their families. As of today, 10 people are in illegal detention. In the period between the meetings, 8 cases of illegal bordering were recorded in the villages of Kareli and Gori municipalities, during which the so-called fire protection ropes and metal poles were erected, on which wires are then laid," said the deputy director of the Information and Analytical Department of the State Security Service.
