Shalva Papuashvili on the opposition: if this is Europe, you should not go to work, then we cannot agree with some foreigners - we understand Europe in the way that the salary they receive from citizens should be used to implement the mandate

The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, at the plenary session of the Parliament, named the oppositionists who are not attending the session and said that Europe is the place where the salary they receive from the citizens should be used to implement the mandate.

As Papuashvili said, some oppositionists have a different idea.

"Nika Machutadze, Nato Chkheidze, Tamar Kordzaia, Grigol Vashadze, Tamar Charkviani, Davit Bakradze, Armaz Akhvlediani, Roman Gotsiridze, "National Movement" in full composition, "Citizens" are not present at the last session - this also shows by itself...

I had a conversation with one of my foreign colleagues and he used such a term - pro-European opposition, we talked about it later.

If it is Europe that you should not go to work, then we cannot agree with some foreigners what Europe is; If it is Europe that you ask for a mandate in the next parliament and you do not implement it in this parliament, where you have a mandate, then we and that foreign colleague cannot agree on what Europe is. We understand Europe differently. We understand Europe in such a way that the salary received from the citizens should be used to implement the mandate given by the citizens. It seems that some oppositionists have a different idea," Papuashvili said.
