Salome Zurabishvili: I went to Europe with the "Georgian Charter", I met with all the responsible persons and received a promise that if this is fulfilled, they will return us to where we should be at an urgent pace, that is, at the door of the opening of negotiations

I went to Europe with this charter, I met with all the responsible persons, and I received a promise from them that if this is fulfilled at some level, as a whole, if there is political will and marching with this charter, we will be returned at an urgent pace to where we should be, i.e. at the door of the opening of negotiations, - about this in Georgia President Salome Zurabishvili said.

According to her, the four parties with whom he had meetings confirmed that they are loyal to the Charter.

"There are 14 days left before the elections, and everything is very good, because I believe that whatever promises I made to the public have been fulfilled. This charter was made, this is our action plan to return to the European future, to survive the Russian past or the future, if anyone thinks that this may be the future, and to guarantee the independence and progress of Georgia. I wanted meetings, these were neither consultations nor negotiations, I wanted to go through all the points of this charter together with the 4 parties that are part of the pro-European platform and to get a clear promise that this charter will be fully implemented, because I went to Europe with this charter , I met with all the responsible persons and I received a promise from them that if this is done at some level, if there is political will as a whole and if there is marching with this charter, we will be returned with an urgent pace to where we should be, i.e. at the door of opening negotiations.

I have a great responsibility in this regard to the community and our partners, and I am true to my word. I went through this with all the parties and I received confirmation from all of them that they are in this process, that they are loyal to this charter and are ready to bring the process to the end, and I am very satisfied with that," said Salome Zurabishvili.
