In general, the processes we went through since the beginning of February - even before the [Ukrainian] war started - we had to withstand very serious pressure in order to save our country from war and destruction, - said the Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists, responding to the statement of Bidzina Ivanishvili, honorary chairman of "Georgian Dream".
According to him, one small message of these processes was the episode that Irakli Gharibashvili personally received from a specific person.
"I can't say more than that. We immediately received information regarding this from Irakli Gharibashvili. In general, the processes we went through since the beginning of February - even before the [Ukrainian] war started - were very difficult. These processes continued even after the start of the war. Those days were the hardest since the beginning of the war. Relevant meetings also continued intensively in March. Then, you remember what happened in June, when we were unfairly denied the status of a candidate and they tried to organize a revolution to disrupt the country and involve the country in a war. These were processes, and one small message of these processes was the episode that Irakli Gharibashvili personally received from a specific person. We had to withstand very serious pressure in order to save our country from war and destruction," said Kobakhidze.
For information, the honorary chairman of "Georgian Dream", Bidzina Ivanishvili, said that with the current chairman of "Georgian Dream" and former PM, Irakli Gharibashvili, a high-ranking official of one country had such a conversation: "There are 3 million of you and they cannot kill all of you in 3-4 days." You can go to the forest with a partisan movement, we will help you and something else from there. How many days can we fight, how many days can we endure, maybe 3-4 days, then they will kill us for the sake of 3-4 days?! We will provide you, we will help you, and from there, this was the reality," explained Ivanishvili.
