OSCE/ODIHR has made it clear that these elections have taken place - some of the statements that we hear from various European politicians, diplomats, and countries give the impression that there is a desire to revise the OSCE/ODIHR conclusion and others, for example, by local NGOs. Relying on the prepared reports, - said the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili at the press conference.
According to him, the OSCE/ODIHR report clearly states that Georgia has an elected government and the management team expects that everyone, including the European Union, will be loyal to this report.
"At today's briefing, I would also like to inform you about the issue of spreading disinformation regarding the elections. The first issue, which is related to the European Union, is that we understood that the European Union would base its assessment of the elections on the basis of the OSCE/ODIHR report. Unfortunately, some of the statements that we hear from various European politicians, diplomats and countries give the impression that there is no desire to revise the OSCE/ODIHR conclusion, or to bypass the OSCE/ODIHR conclusion and rely on some other accounts. which would be, for example, prepared by local NGOs, which we know were guided by electoral goals in these elections. OSCE/ODIHR clearly stated in its report, both in writing and orally, that these elections have taken place, that Georgia has an elected government. This is a clear OSCE/ODIHR report and conclusion, and we expect that all, apart from them, the European Union will be loyal to the OSCE/ODIHR conclusion," Papuashvili said.
