Teona Aqubardia: we were involved in the actions, a peaceful demonstration is the right of every citizen - we participate, although we are not the organizers

Giorgi Gakharia's party has a completely different vision and values. It was never news that these differences exist with the "National Movement". When we talk about the European future of the country and the return of freedom of elections, of course we have the same visions in these goals, - this is how the member of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party, Theona Aqubardia, explained why Giorgi Gakharia's party does not participate in the actions organized by the opposition parties.

As she mentioned in the "PalitrNews" program "Resume", she does not see a tragedy in these differences. According to Akubardia, although there are tactical differences, they have coordination with the rest of the opposition parties in the legal battle.

According to Akubardia, the members of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party will join not from the stage, but from the street together with the voters.

"We were involved in the actions. Peaceful demonstration is the right of every citizen. We participate, but we are not organizers. The center of resistance is not just a protest. The center of resistance is the legal arena, feedback to voters, as well as active communication with partners.

Elections in this country must be trusted. If the freedom of elections is not protected, there is no point in participating in the self-government elections of 2025, because it is obvious that this man [Bidzina Ivanishvili] put the country in his pocket.

As long as the parliament does not have legitimacy either inside the country or outside the country, we are not going to enter this parliament. That's why we continue to work and we will continue to join the actions as before, not from the stage, but from the street together with our voters.

Giorgi Gakharia's party has a completely different vision and values. It was never news that these differences exist with the "National Movement". When we talk about the European future of the country and the return of freedom of elections, of course we have the same vision in these goals. But there is a specific vision, tactical differences, despite the fact that we have coordination in the legal battle, so I don't see a tragedy in the fact that these differences exist", Aqubardia said.
