Opposition members of the Central Election Commission meet the President

The opposition members of the Central Election Commission meet the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, in the Orbeliani Palace.

As the opposition members of the CEC told the journalists before the meeting, they will provide the President with information related to violations and unfair decisions made by the Central Election Commission in the pre-election period, which, according to them, "caused the falsification and hijacking of elections".

According to Giorgi Sioridze, the representative of "Strong Georgia" in the CEC, the role of the president is very important now, so it is necessary that he be informed by the representatives of the administration.

"The opposition members of the CEC wanted to meet with the President of Georgia, as the only remaining institution in this country. The October 26 election is rigged and the election was held in violation of the principle of secrecy, therefore, it is illegitimate. We should provide information about this to Salome Zurabishvili", said Giorgi Sioridze.
