"Unity National Movement" submitted an application to the CEC with the request to cancel the lists

According to Sofo Japaridze, one of the leaders of the "Unity National Movement", the "Unity National Movement" submitted a statement to the CEC, demanding canceling of a list in the Parliament. As Sofo Japaridze noted, they are now waiting for "one of the main participants in the Russian special operation, Giorgi Kalandarishvili", to approve the coalition's application.

"We brought a statement on behalf of "Unity National Movement" with the signature of the chairwoman, Tina Bokuchava, in accordance with the law, which asks the administration of the Central Election Commission to cancel the parliamentary list of "Unity National Movement", since we do not recognize the results of the elections and we expect them to accept our statement. Within three days, we expect one of the main participants in the Russian special operation, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, to approve our statement in accordance with the law, and we will use all the steps and rules established by the law so that this parliament does not have legitimacy. This parliament is not recognized by anyone, neither inside the country nor outside the country, it is a self-styled parliament and a self-styled government," said Sofo Japaridze.
