There was a confrontation at the protest rally in Kutaisi.

According to available information, the participants of the rally blocked the road near the "Georgian Dream" office, after which the law enforcement officers allegedly arrested several people.

Demonstrations in Tbilisi and several cities were planned after the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, announced at a briefing after the meeting of the parliamentary majority and the government team that Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028.

According to the Prime Minister, Georgia also refuses any budget grant from the European Union until the end of 2028.
