A special purpose squad is being mobilized on Freedom Square.

In particular, the special forces unit is located in the vicinity of the Tbilisi City Council.

There are dozens of buses and minibuses on site, where a special purpose squad is present. There are several water jet vehicles and also 2 fire and rescue service vehicles.

At the same time, citizens are gathered at the rally on Rustaveli Avenue. They have blocked the road.

We remind you that on November 28, protests began in Tbilisi after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the decision of the ruling team that Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. The participants of the rally gathered at two locations in Tbilisi - on Gorgasli Street, near the office of "Georgian Dream" and on Rustaveli Avenue, near the parliament building. Later, the rally converged in front of the Parliament, where the situation between the law enforcement officers and the participants of the rally became tense many times. Around 2:00 am, after warning the demonstrators, the police started to break up the rally on Rustaveli Avenue. The special forces used water cannons and special means against the protesters many times.

During the action, 43 persons were detained with optional reports.
