The investigation of this crime has been started and I really hope that the culprit will be identified as soon as possible, - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said at the press conference held in the government administration.

According to the Prime Minister, the attack on the operator, who was physically injured as a result of the attack, is particularly disturbing.

"First of all, I want to make a statement regarding the attack on media representatives. Unequivocally, this is a provocation, the only purpose of which can be to artificially strain the situation. The investigation into this crime is underway and I sincerely hope that the culprit will be identified as soon as possible. Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will hold a briefing, where detailed information will be presented about the progress of the investigation.
