I will start with tomorrow and the senseless provocation organized by the so-called mayor of the city, - said the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili at today's briefing.
Zurabishvili appealed to the capital's mayor Kakha Kaladze and offered to organize a ceremonial event in front of the Orbeliani palace.
According to her explanation, if any provocation takes place in the parliament, the responsibility will fall on the mayor of the capital.
"I will start with tomorrow and the senseless provocation organized by the so-called mayor, who planned to light the Christmas tree with the children tomorrow at 19:00. This is a clear provocation, because for two weeks already, there has been a continuous protest in that place, and since the parody is being held tomorrow in the parliament, there will undoubtedly be a very big protest that day. Arranging this event in that place, exactly tomorrow, exactly at 19:00, right in front of the parliament - we all understand well what it means, why it is done and what it serves. In a place, by the way, where the doctors themselves say that there are also trees soaked in gas, and it is probably not desirable to bring children there. I want to warn the mayor of the city that his provocation will probably not lead to anything, because this protest, which is spread out in the city and will be tomorrow and the day after that, is very peaceful and they will manage to avoid this provocation themselves, but I still want to tell the mayor of the city that If this is not a provocation, why tomorrow, barbarism comes, which is much more natural, to move, and I suggest that before Orbeliani, where he put himself some barracks and pretend toys for children, to bring the children here and organize the event he was going to do in front of the Parliament in front of the Orbelian Palace. But no matter what happens, if something happens, the responsibility will be completely and only on him personally", Zurabishvili said.
