Protests continue - protesters block Rustaveli Avenue

Protesters have blocked the road on Rustaveli Avenue.

At the moment, traffic on the main avenue of the capital has already been restricted.

The protesters have brought protest banners of various contents, photos of people arrested and beaten during the protests. Their main demand is again the appointment of new elections and the release of those arrested.

The protest has been going on for the 27th day without. Protest marches are being held at various locations in Tbilisi throughout the day, and from 8:00 p.m., the gathering place is the area adjacent to the Parliament.

For information, the citizens' protest followed the November 28 statement by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, according to which Georgia postponed the opening of negotiations on joining the European Union until 2028.
