Human chain to be formed in cities of Georgia today

On December 28, a month after the start of the protests, a "Chain of Unity" will be organized in the cities of Georgia. Citizens will form a human chain across the country at 3:00 PM.

In Tbilisi, the human chain will be formed: Vakhushti Bridge; Queen Tamar Bridge; Galaktioni Bridge; Saarbrücken Bridge; Baratashvili Bridge, Peace Bridge; Metekhi Bridge.

A human chain will also be tied in various cities of Georgia.

For information, the citizens' protest followed the November 28 statement by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, according to which a decision was made not to put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. The main demands of the protest participants remain unchanged - to schedule new elections and release persons detained during the protests.
