The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs expelled 91 citizens of various countries from the country in November-December of this year.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, within the framework of the expulsion procedure, some citizens of foreign countries left Georgia voluntarily, while others were forcibly expelled from Georgia as a result of measures taken by the Migration Department.

“On the basis of relevant legislation, citizens of Iran, Algeria, India, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Pakistan, Nigeria, Iraq, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkmenistan and other countries were expelled from the country in November-December.

Among the deported persons, against whom the deportation procedure has been initiated by the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are foreign citizens who participated in the protests in Tbilisi in November-December of this year and were subjected to various administrative penalties by the court - a total of 25 persons. Of these, 10 foreign citizens have already left the territory of Georgia.
