Irakli Kobakhidze meets with Ambassador of China to Georgia

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Georgia, Zhou Qian.

According to the government administration, at the meeting, the Prime Minister once again expressed his condolences to the ambassador over the devastating earthquake in China, which claimed many lives, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

“The conversation touched upon cooperation in the areas envisaged by the Georgia-China Strategic Partnership Agreement and the positive dynamics of the development of trade and economic ties.

It was noted that the free trade agreement and visa-free travel, as well as people-to-people ties, represent a good opportunity for the further development of bilateral relations. The parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen result-oriented cooperation,” reads the information.
