Joe Wilson: Ivanishvili’s illegitimate puppet Prime Minister is not President Donald Trump’s friend, he will soon be on the U.S. sanctions list

"Ivanishvili’s illegitimate puppet prime minister is not a friend of President Donald Trump; he is a pawn of the Chinese Communist Party and the Iranian regime," stated Joe Wilson, Chairman of the U.S. Helsinki Commission and Congressman, on his X (formerly Twitter) page. Wilson was responding to a social media post by Irakli Kobakhidze, in which Georgia’s prime minister congratulated Donald Trump on his presidency.

Wilson emphasized that Georgia’s legitimate president and a friend of the U.S., Salome Zurabishvili, attended Donald Trump’s inauguration.

"Ivanishvili’s illegitimate puppet prime minister is not a friend of President Donald Trump. He is a pawn of the Chinese Communist Party and the Iranian regime, and he will soon appear on the U.S. sanctions list. At the inauguration, Georgia’s legitimate president and a friend of the U.S., Salome Zurabishvili, was present," Wilson wrote.

The congressman also shared a joint photo of himself, Salome Zurabishvili, and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

"I am grateful that Marco Rubio has been confirmed as Secretary of State. No one understands the threat of the axis of aggressor dictatorships better—his family fled Cuba’s tyrannical regime. I was grateful to introduce him to the President of Georgia," Wilson added.
