Irakli Kobakhidze: "Dream City" is an unprecedented social project aimed at creating proper living conditions. The project includes the construction of 9 multi-apartment residential buildings, providing housing for 1,077 families

"The 'Dream City' project is not just about residential buildings; our fellow citizens need a fully developed living environment," said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Batumi, where he participated in the symbolic capsule-laying ceremony marking the foundation of the "Dream City" construction.

According to Kobakhidze, this project will play a significant role in Batumi's development.

"In the new phase, the construction of a school, kindergarten, recreational zones, and other infrastructure facilities is also planned, which will benefit our fellow citizens.

This project will make a crucial contribution to Batumi’s development, providing new housing spaces, a school, a kindergarten, and other facilities. All of this will contribute to improving the city's infrastructure and, ultimately, to the economic growth of the city, creating new jobs. In this regard, the project is of great importance.

I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone involved in the successful implementation of the first phase of the project—its authors and architects, whose professionalism has been reflected in its success, as well as the builders, engineers, and technical staff who spared no effort to complete the first phase successfully. Of course, special thanks go to the government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, and I am confident that the second phase of the project will be carried out just as successfully. Congratulations to everyone on today’s event. The second phase of the project will be completed in 2028, and I congratulate you all in advance on the beginning of this important endeavor," said Irakli Kobakhidze.

Additionally, Kobakhidze emphasized that "Dream City" is an unprecedented social project aimed at creating proper living conditions. The project includes the construction of nine multi-apartment residential buildings, providing housing for 1,077 families.

"Today is an important and historic day. The second phase of the 'Dream City' construction begins. This project is one of the outstanding achievements of our social policy, confirming that one of the government’s top priorities is caring for its citizens. 'Dream City' is an unprecedented social project aimed at providing adequate living conditions for our fellow citizens, particularly those who have had to live in difficult conditions for years and, unfortunately, still do.

The first phase was successfully completed, resulting in the construction of three 12-story buildings where 582 families have already been accommodated. Nearly 800 children now have the opportunity to grow up in a healthy and comfortable environment.

Today, we are starting the second phase of this project, which is even more ambitious and large-scale. According to the new plan, nine multi-apartment residential buildings will be constructed on 19,407 square meters, providing homes for 1,077 families. These new apartments will be fully equipped with gas supply, water, sewage systems, and all necessary services," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
