Disaster relief efforts continue in Imereti. According to the Governor’s Office of Imereti, 45 previously isolated villages have been reopened.
"Since this morning, 150 units of heavy equipment have resumed operations to ensure access to the remaining 60 villages. The Ministry of Defense has deployed military forces, with soldiers and military equipment distributed across various municipalities.
Electricity supply has been partially restored, with 9,120 subscribers still without power. In some areas, schools and kindergartens have suspended classes," the Governor's Office stated.
