Levan Khabeishvili, one of the leaders of "Unity - National Movement," stated that representatives of "Gakharia for Georgia" should either leave parliament, stop slandering the opposition, or agree to unity.

According to Khabeishvili, the public must draw a conclusion about "who is the opposition and who is Bidzina's gatekeeper."

"They have been in the opposition for a day and a half and still haven't left parliament. Ask them why they don't leave if it's illegitimate. They mumble about finances. When they stole finances along with the 'Georgian Dream,' that’s what they deserve. So, they need to do something: either leave parliament, stop slandering the opposition, or agree to unity. If they don’t take action, the public must draw a conclusion about who is the opposition and who is Bidzina's gatekeeper.

It’s clear that these people don’t want unity. Salome even stated that division is good and unity is bad. This is unacceptable. The Georgian coat of arms clearly states 'Strength is in unity,' not 'Strength is in coordination,'” Khabeishvili said.

When asked about the prospects of former President Salome Zurabishvili uniting the opposition around her, Khabeishvili responded that the "National Movement" will unite with those who are genuinely against Bidzina Ivanishvili.

"The public will easily distinguish between who is the true opposition and who is the gatekeeper of Bidzina, who does not want unity. Those who don’t want unity today are the gatekeepers of Bidzina. The people want unity, they are not interested in any political party; they care about their country’s European future. Some cannot let go of their party banners, some want to create new parties, etc.

For us, unity is the most important thing. We will unite with those who are genuinely against Bidzina Ivanishvili, not those playing games, dancing, or playing a one-man show," Khabeishvili added.

He stated that Salome Zurabishvili has until March 31 to change her mind and accept that "unity is good."

"Even though in 2018 there was a special operation – the elections were rigged when Salome Zurabishvili was made president, and we should not forget the murder of Ia Kereselidze, for the best interests of Georgia, we cooperated. There is still time until March 31, and if she doesn’t change her mind that unity is good, we won’t have any problems with anyone. The process where they tell us that division is good and unity is bad will not work. Some were deceiving us, pretending to be in the opposition while doing Bidzina Ivanishvili’s work and not leaving parliament, for example. A lot has accumulated. Everything has a limit. Now there will be some overload, and people need to distinguish between who is the true opposition and who is a mercenary, who supports division and who supports unity," Khabeishvili concluded.
