Mzia Amaglobeli is now accused of defacing the building with a protest poster that was removed immediately after it was hung - the injustices committed against Mzia did not end there, and now they are preparing to fine her under a new article for the same act, - Nona Kurdovanidze, the human rights defender of Batumelebi and Netgazeti founder Mzia Amaglobeli and the chairwoman of GYLA, writes on social media.

As Kurdovanidze notes, Mzia Amaglobeli was detained on administrative charges for the aforementioned act, however, “they realized that they had no right to detain her for the poster, falsified the reports and recorded that they were accusing her of committing Article 173.”

“A new report has been drawn up against Mzia Amaglobeli.

This time, they are alleging that she defaced the appearance of the building with a protest poster, which was removed as soon as it was hung. We would like to remind you that Mzia was detained on administrative charges for this action, but when they realized that they had no right to detain her for the poster, they falsified the reports and recorded that they were accusing her of committing Article 173. The court of first instance has already considered this case and unfairly fined Mzia.

The injustices committed against Mzia did not end there, and now they are planning to fine her under a new article for the same action,” Kurdovanidze writes.
