The State Security Service has issued a statement regarding the statement issued by the US Embassy in Georgia regarding a bomb threat at three shopping malls.
According to the agency, " relevant units of the State Security Service are working on another false report."
"The safety of citizens is the Service's top priority, and within its authority, the Service is taking all necessary and urgent measures.
We call on representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia to respect the activities of the services responsible for security, to show greater responsibility, and to refrain from spreading statements not agreed with the relevant agencies," reads the statement.
For information, according to the US Embassy, information was received about the bomb threat directed at 3 shopping centers in Tbilisi - East Point, Galleria Tbilisi, and Tbilisi Mall.
