A service is being held at the St. George Church in Kashveti on the occasion of the Day of Family Sanctity and Respect for Parents.

The service is being attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, Mikheil Kavelashvili and other representatives of both the legislative and executive branches of government.

At the same time, residents are gathering on Rustaveli Avenue in the vicinity of the St. George Church in Kashveti.

After the service, citizens will hold a solemn procession to the Holy Trinity Church.
