It is very important that our government has taken very good and effective, courageous steps towards protecting traditional values. I mean the law against the propaganda of sodomy adopted last year, as well as the removal of the concept of gender identity from the laws, - the Patriarchal locum tenens, Metropolitan of Senaki and Chkhorotsku, Reverend Shio (Mujiri) stated during a sermon in the Kashveti Church on the occasion of the Day of the Sanctity of the Family.

His Holiness Shio thanked the government representatives for adopting the aforementioned law.

“These forces are fighting not only the Church and church families, but also the traditional family in general.
