Everyone in Georgia today feels that things cannot continue this way. Anger, disappointment, and readiness are all growing simultaneously.

This is also a sign of a historic turning point — when the regime is openly criticized by the U.S., the European Parliament, and the democratic world, it is left alone. A dictatorship that is left alone shatters like cracked glass,” stated Paata Manjgaladze, one of the leaders of “Strategy Aghmashenebeli.”

According to him, “the collapse of the regime has already begun, and the main question now is when we will make use of the preconditions for change and, together, peacefully and in a timely manner, bring it to an end.”

“We’re often asked — what gives you the grounds to say that the regime is collapsing?

The answer is simple: this is not a matter of desire — it's a certain regularity, a mechanism that destroys every dictatorship, and this mechanism has already been activated in Georgia.

First — internal division and resistance. When the regime's pillars — Garibashvili, Liluashvili, Gomelauri — leave the system, it means one thing: even inside the system, they no longer believe the regime will survive. Instead of unity, fear, mistrust, and the instinct for self-preservation emerge. This is the beginning of internal collapse.

Second — distancing by the elite (financial, cultural), keeping far enough away so that the regime’s defeat does not become their personal defeat. This is a typical stage in the breakdown of autocracy: first, the internal supports fall away, then the surrounding circle distances itself.

Third — the exhaustion of public expectations. Everyone in Georgia today feels that things cannot continue this way. Anger, disappointment, and readiness are all growing simultaneously. This is also a sign of a historic turning point.

Fourth — international isolation. When the regime is openly criticized by the U.S., the European Parliament, and the democratic world, it is left alone. A dictatorship that is left alone shatters like cracked glass. These cracks are already visible.

The collapse of the regime has already begun, and the main question now is when we will make use of the preconditions for change and, together, peacefully and in a timely manner, bring it to an end. This is no longer just an opportunity — it is a national task and responsibility,” stated Paata Manjgaladze.
