Giorgi Baramidze: Instead of fighting Ivanishvili, some are now eager to organize intrigues in the National Movement, to find a confrontation within the party - I urge those who are engaged in this to adjust their focus

On October 4, the Russian traitor gang decided to conduct a Russian special operation, so it will be a special day - a special day of peaceful, non-violent struggle with the regime, - stated Giorgi Baramidze, Political Secretary of the National Movement.

As Baramidze noted on PalitraNews, there is unanimity in the party regarding October 4 - the messages of Tina Bokuchava, Mikheil Saakashvili and Levan Khabeishvili are in harmony with each other.

According to him, those who are now investing more energy in searching for internal conflicts and preparing intrigues within the National Movement should shift their attention to the real enemy - “Bidzina Ivanishvili and the regime”.

"On October 4, of course, there should be no Russian special operation, but people outside - to end this regime. This regime may end on the 4th, on the 10th or on the 30th, we do not know this in advance. Shouldn't we protest on October 4 - a Russian special operation? Is there anyone smart enough to say that we should not protest on October 4? No one knows in advance what will happen on October 4.

Some people are now eager to, instead of fighting Bidzina Ivanishvili, organize intrigues in the National Movement, to find something, to find a confrontation inside. I call on those who are engaged in this to focus on the regime, and not on the National Movement. Tina Bokuchava said what she had to say, what Mikheil Saakashvili said, which is absolutely consistent with what Levan Khabeishvili said,” Baramidze said.

Baramidze also emphasized that the National Movement will always be where there is a fight.

“All patriots agree that every day is a day of fight. I will explain why October 4 will be special - because on this day the Russian traitorous gang decided to conduct a Russian special operation, so it will be a special day. It will be a special day of peaceful, non-violent fight against the regime. When the fight will end against the regime, on the same day, on the 10th or on the 30th, no one knows for sure. What the protest will be like will be decided by the Georgian people, not by two people.

Accordingly, where there is a fight, there is the National Movement. I don’t think any party will say, “We are taking a vacation on October 4 and refrain from fighting,” Baramidze said.

In addition, Baramidze also spoke about the arrest of Lasha Tsanava, a member of the political council of the United National Movement, on charges of fraud by employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service, and noted that the ruling regime is trying to neutralize opposition leaders.

“Not only are they planning to arrest Khabeishvili, President Saakashvili also wrote in his post about other leaders of the National Movement, including Levan Khabeishvili, as one of the active fighters. Recently, Levan Khabeishvili has done a lot of things that have hurt this regime very much.

We will be a target and each of us already is. As for the accusations, they are fabricated accusations," Baramidze said.
